O’Farrell’s Forecourt, Salthill, Galway joins the Inver Brand

O'Farrell's Inver Energy

O’Farrell’s launched their new Inver branding with a family fun day. Galway Bay FM broadcasted live from the forecourt. Customers enjoyed face painting and treats for the children, delicious food and lots of fun giveaways.

O’Farrell’s have served the Salthill community and its surrounding areas since the mid 1960’s when Eugene and Mary set up a repair garage and service centre. A small service station supplying leaded petrol and diesel met the needs of the increasing population of Knocknacarra and Salthill.

Late 1990 the family built a modern forecourt and service station. It truly is a family run business, with Sean initially running the service station and shop and Gerard managing the workshop. Eugene, Mary, Sean and Gerard operated the business until Eugene passed away in 2008. Currently Mary, Sean and Gerard are the directors of the business. The O’Farrell family joined the Inver group in June, and Inver is delighted to be affiliated with a business that has such a long history of service to their community.

Inver looks forward to a long working with O’Farrell’s of Salthill as the two businesses mirror each other in their long history of business and their commitment to their local community and the Irish economy.
